PostScript returned to Waterloo’s Royal Medieval Faire this past September 17, 2011. The morning was chilly but by the afternoon the clouds had cleared and it almost got warm enough to take off our sweaters. Almost. A good sized crowd of lords, ladies, dragons, knights and civilians descended on Waterloo Park. We had a great […]
This year’s theme at Toronto’s FanExpo Canada 2011 was “Bigger than last year, now with more flavour!” The Expo returned to the south building and we once again shared table space with Caanan Grall of Occasional Comics. We were directly across from the Marvel booth which meant we got to see lots of X-Men, Thors […]
PostScript Process: The making of a comic Check out the finished product: Them’s the Rules.
September 18, 2010 Waterloo, Ontario became a gathering place for knights and ladies. The Royal Medieval Faire attracted thousands of patrons to Waterloo Park who flocked to see the drama unfold between king, queen, knights, squires and even fairies and pirates. Pitched battles took place in a central ring while games and workshops were available […]
The second collection of PostScript strips is here. The limited first edition of Food For Thought comes signed and in full colour.
Some days are worse than others. Take in a good dose of pathos every time you look upon our poor little friend.
This was my second year at Toronto’s Fan Expo Canada. Fan Expo is a convention that combines comics, anime, games and horror all in one amazing weekend. Just like last time, it was a blast. I split a booth with Caanan Grall while my brother, Neal, and my wife, Michelle, proved invaluable when it came to running our half of the table. We got to…
June 18th to 20th Enchanted Ground, the Guelph Ontario Faery Fest, celebrated five years of wings and wands. Gurmok (aka Jeff Blakeney) greeted me in his friendly way with a snarl and the traditional trollish club-brandishing bridge pursuit.
Word On The Street takes place one Sunday every September in Vancouver, Kitchener, Toronto and Halifax. Word On The Street is billed as “a national celebration of literacy and the written word,” and it does a darn good job of living up to this claim. […] I was proud to be among the booksellers and independent authors that lined Jubilee Drive in Kitchener’s Victoria Park.
I spent a beautiful day at the 2009 Royal Medieval Faire in Waterloo, Ontario on September the 19th. Over 5,500 visitors came to the event to see the tournament fights and shenanigans performed all day long. There are few better ways to spend a day.
Sometimes late just happens. Get the print of the most popular PostScript card, the belated birthday card that reminds us that some lates are worse than others.
The toad speaks for himself.
August 28th to 30th was an epic weekend. My fiancée, Michelle, and I took PostScript to FanExpo at the Toronto Metro Convention Center, where tens of thousands of people packed the space to visit hundreds of exhibits.
It’s both a birthday wish and a cold, hard reminder of how social codes protect us.
So, you missed a birthday. Don’t feel bad; at least you didn’t miss the ark. This card will help you and the recipient keep things in perspective.
Goldilocks is toooo picky. She clearly has yet to learn that small things come in good packages.
That phrase, it’s the thought that counts, is an age-old excuse for horrible gifts. Pass on this card and take on the tyranny of bad taste.
Want something of everything? Buy a bundle and get one of each of the four available cards. Better yet, buy several bundles and stock up.
I am pleased to announce that Zoe is the winner of the 2009 Guelph Faery Fest colouring contest. Ines Markljevic won the Caption contest, with honourable mentions going to Clare N. Taylor and Melchior Bodnar.
