Jumping into June

After three weekends of running hither and yon, we can report that Graham has successfully acquired a house, cleaned it, painted it, and moved a whole bunch of boxes into it.  I can also report that since there was nothing left behind at the apartment, all of his tools and toys have made it safely into the new house (this also includes his wife, dog, and Lego collection, so everyone is happy).

As part of this move, whenever Graham had a spare moment, he was either in the old place getting ready to move, or in the new place getting ready to move in.  Whenever I had a spare moment, I was doing the same.  I did not spend nearly as much as Graham and his dear wife did.  We are all tired, but relieved that the big part of the job is over.

There are now dozens of boxes cryptically labeled things like “Iron dish clothes” or “Books – Graham – Box M”.  Somewhere in that pile are all of his tools of his trade.  If all goes according to plan, Graham will find them sooner rather than later.  In the meantime, to get everyone back into the habit of checking the website, we’re featuring a different commission each day.

Always find a reason to laugh.

the commissions dont fit the page, but i think you should do it more often. me likey.

  • MoogkSoulis

Consider them fitted-ish and your request to post them more often heard.

We love doing them, mostly because we get the weirdest requests. None of our other cartoonist friends get requests like: “Dread Pirate Roberts riding a swamp rat being chased by David Tennant’s Dr. Who riding a dalek.” You guys are the best.

  • That’s weird?

  • MoogkSoulis

Well, if you could see the things floating around inside my head, I suppose that would be relatively normal.

  • Ralph Schaddelee

We *can* see what’s floating in your head if you draw them for us ^.^

  • MoogkSoulis

Touché. We appreciate your patience as we dig ourselves out of our hole.
